  2. I was at the festival for about an hour today. It was packed to the gills, the bands were awesome, and the crowd were everywhere (very diverse too, I noticed a ton of high school kids, but a ton of adults as well). Parking was a pain in the butt :( But after seeing the atmosphere and the crowds, I am all happy for it :)

Is this really their 18th year? I have never heard about the festival until this year from this blog? Maybe the previous years were not advertised or as big as this year?

  3. Went for the last hour and a half - the Yelp reviews although older (from '99!) they seem spot on....not the greatest for young kids (at least that late in the day; arrived at 6pm, left at 8). Seemed like a "meat-market" with lots of testosterone and posturing by the dudes and "look at me"s by many of the females...IF we go next year, we'll be sure to go early, ahem, at opening (2 pm) for the kids activity stuff.

BTW, GREAT blog! "Found" so many local goings-on here that this is a DAILY destination for news, surfing, etc. Thanks so much!

    -dedicated daily reader!
