  1. C2SV was the first official technology conference in San Jose, you produced a beautiful post about that event on Friday September 20, 2013.
I'm hopeful that Techmanity will be a great event, but its not the first official, and since its ridiculous to label it the first annual event of its kind. (well, ridiculous to anyone who has lived for more than one year in San Jose...)

  2. Sorry - since this is the first year of Techmanity, its ridiculous to label it an annual event.

  3. O'Reilly OSCON (Open Source Convention) was in SJ in 2009.

Also, this whole thing sounds insufferable, like a Tony Robbins convention for would-be tech millionaires.

  4. Speaking of, what the heck IS going on with C2SV this year? Their website lists it as September 10-14 this year and it mentions the bands that are playing...but the tech conference has been moved from the Convention Center to Zero1 Garage (???) and given that the event is less than a month away...there’s been awfully little buzz on it.
