"Hey Josh, this thing that you're doing with your free time for no benefit other than helping San Jose, try harder to put up things that interest ME."

How about you start your own blog, Mr. Anonymous? I'm sure your two entries on the Giants winning and "hey, everyone's voting" would be riveting, Pulitzer prize material not covered elsewhere.

Josh, two things:
1. I completely agree with not posting about the Giants. They're SF's team, not San Jose's. This is the San Jose Blog. And it's not like anyone didn't know they won.
2. I like that you generally stay away from politics. We don't need another forum to argue about council members and pensions. San Jose Inside has that covered.Jonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1923860625279115418.post-32942821802141829602010-11-02T12:50:28.801-07:002010-11-02T12:50:28.801-07:00Thanks so much for your honest feedback. This blog isn't supposed to be a replacement for the Merc or the San Jose Business Journal. The best I can do for now is highlight items that I find interesting/important and that readers submit to me.

You're right about voting. I should have mentioned something about the vote today for sure, but will definitely post election results affecting San Jose tomorrow.

As for the Giants, I'm sorry but this blog has absolutely nothing to do with San Francisco. I'm going to get a lot of flak for saying this, but to me San Jose getting the Sabercats back is more relevant than the Giants winning the world series. Despite thinking that it is horrible that they are trying to block San Jose from getting the A's, I do have to give them credit on an amazing world series. Congratulations to the Giants fans out there. Hopefully one day we'll have the opportunity to enjoy a world series in San Jose.Joshua Santoshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08146556924287585958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1923860625279115418.post-35775632274611587812010-11-02T12:48:50.358-07:002010-11-02T12:48:50.358-07:00To Anonymous:

The San Jose blog always has consistent, regular posts that are informative and cover a wide rang of events taking place in San Jose, and cities nearby.
I find it offensive to bash someone who cares so much about San Jose and is willing to write posts so often on top of their daily life/job. There is so much going on in San Jose/other cities, that of course some events might not be covered in the blog. If you had suggestions of other post ideas, you could mention them without being discouraging. And apparently you know about the events you mentioned already, as do most people, so perhaps the blogger did not feel the need to write about them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1923860625279115418.post-25474590299978208742010-11-02T12:22:03.566-07:002010-11-02T12:22:03.566-07:00I wanted to let you know I am a little disappointe...I wanted to let you know I am a little disappointed in your blog posts. I know it is about San Jose, but there is no mention of the San Francisco Giants winning the World Series. Yes, you are promoting about the A's coming to San Jose but still. I am a Giants fan and I am here in San Jose.

The second item is that you did not mention anything about the San Jose Rock n Roll 1/2 marathon that was last month. This series goes all around the US and San Jose is the only city represented in Northern CA.

Also, what about voting today? Instead you have about the SaberCats coming back?

I just do not see this blog going in the direction as I thought it was.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
