It's easy to be cynical about the city, but we all know it has so much potential to be so much more. This city has the best weather and the best economy in the United States, period. That gives it a huge head start to do anything it wants. Instead of all these rich tycoons in the valley sending all their money to San Francisco and LA, we should convince them to spend it here in a city longing for more appeal With each development, comes more legitimacy as a city to be taken seriously. If only more city officials would have a bigger vision for the city and not just revel in being in San Francisco's shadow, then we could progress into a more respected city. I think we all get tired of the city being disrespected for its lack of culture and attractions. And deep down we know the criticisms are still mostly true. But as the line goes "if you build it, they will come..."
