Also, the businesses surrounding that corner caters to low-income people. Once the rest of Downtown gentrifies we will see higher-end businesses who will pull in higher-class people and that's when we will see that corner becomes less blighted.

I remember back in 2006, when Studio 8 was popping and clubbing was hot, that corner was not that bad due to the high traffic of people with money walking around.

Downtown needs to become a place to play for all of us and a place to live for wealthy people, only then would Downtown truly be revived. Some may say it's classist, but it's the way it is.Bobnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1923860625279115418.post-47054776835094066522015-12-20T12:13:14.948-08:002015-12-20T12:13:14.948-08:00I can see that you have not been in Downtown for a...I can see that you have not been in Downtown for at least a decade :) Time to crawl out under them rocks!Bobnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1923860625279115418.post-70905957556250562132015-12-20T11:38:59.671-08:002015-12-20T11:38:59.671-08:00This area is so run down and blighted. While we're at it, something needs to be done to this area. Even Good Karma needs to pretend they are a vegan restaurant to keep the riff raff away from their delicious beer selection. It looks like a mini Tenderloin out thereBongiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02362785685539447636noreply@blogger.com
