San Jose Will Come Together for the Great American Litter Pick-Up in Downtown San Jose

On April 18 from 9 to 11 AM, community members will gather at Arena Green West on North Autumn Street for the Great American Litter Pick-Up. They will focus their efforts along the Guadalupe River Trail and Arena Green, pulling litter from these scenic Downtown San Jose spots to celebrate Earth Day and keep the areas inviting.

The collaboration with the City of San José’s BeautifySJ program means all gloves, bags, and tools will be provided on site. Attendees will simply arrive prepared to contribute their energy and time toward immediate improvements in local parks and trails.

These clean-up initiatives will build stronger neighborhoods and demonstrate the power of shared stewardship. When residents actively care for the Guadalupe River Trail and surrounding green spaces, Downtown San Jose will become even more appealing for daily strolls, family outings, and community events. The city will advance toward its potential as a truly outstanding place to live through consistent, hands-on involvement.

Make plans now to join in the fun and impact on Saturday, April 18. Your participation will help shape a cleaner, prouder San Jose.
