New SJSU Football Complex and Athletic Upgrades!

It looks like SJSU is getting some much needed improvements to it's athletic facilities. The $16-20M investment will bring several improvements to Spartan Stadium, new practice fields adjacent to the stadium, a new complex for basketball / volleyball / gymnastics, and indoor tennis courts. 1. I say it is about time that SJSU gets the much needed up grade. I wonder if that will make parking easer or harder ? I hope it all works out for the best for the school and the community.

  2. This isn't for the school or the community. These upgrades are for a football team that is horrible and doesn't deserve it. How about we spend 17 million on that piece of crap building we call HGH?

  3. With what is being paid by the citizens of CA for property taxes, special issue bonds, the "lootery", alumni donations, etc. .... there should be more than enough money for both athletic and educational facilities!

We need to seriously examine where all funds actually go within the CSU and UC systems.

We have far too many over-paid absentee professors, too many "self-entitled" administrators paid like corporate CEOs, state funded illegal-alien students, and a lack of dedication to the primary focus of the university .... an education .... as it is.
