The public market place at the old Denis Fong building on S. First St. should be open next month since the stalls are already in place with different sizes for various retailers. This was quick compared to San Pedro Market, which took a year after the completion of construction of the building to build and fill in the stalls. I guess one developer and one contractor, along with smaller building area will do justice.
