World Zombie Day Movie Night - 10/10/10

Play Pool, Watch A Movie and Fight Hunger
World Zombie Day is the day that all undead across the world join together as one to help fight world hunger. Almost every city that has ever hosted a zombie walk will be joining together on October 10 to shamble along for world hunger.

We here at zombie-o-rama central are going to put our own unique spin on things, so we will be having a World Zombie Movie Night. Get in your favorite zombie attire and come by South First Street Billiards for an early evening of dinner, drinks and pool. The shamble on over to the SLG Art Boutiki for a zombie movie screening.

No make-up required, just bring yourself and a canned food item which we will donate to a local food bank.

Doors at the SLG Art Boutiki will open at 4:00 PM for those people who would like help with make-up (zombification prices start at $5.00), then it moves on to South First Billiards for pre-movie pool, drink and dinner specials.. Then over to the Art Boutiki for screenings of My Wife is a Zombie and Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated.

What better way to spend 10.10.10

Don't forget a canned food item.

Zombie-O-Rama 2010

Brace yourself for the second annual Zombie-O-Rama in Downtown San Jose! If you thought staggering around Downtown San Jose dressed up as a zombie was reserved only for Halloween, guess again. Tomorrow hundreds, if not thousands, will gather up in SLG Art Boutiki at the tail end of SoFA and march throughout downtown starting at 5pm. Dress up and enjoy discounted libations in bars highlighted below.

Also, what better way to cap out the night than with a zombie fashion show (8:30pm) and outdoor screening of Zombieland (9pm)? For a full overview of tomorrow's debaucheries, feast your eyes on the map below:

ZOMBIE-O-RAMA '09 - August 26th, Downtown San Jose

We have a pretty interesting event coming to Downtown San Jose next Wednesday, San Jose's first Zombie Crawl!  What better way to get ready for October?

This event is centered around a screening of Shaun of the Dead, one of the most entertaining zombie movies I've seen. However, the real fun  is going to be joining the zombie hoard and marching through downtown dressed up as a zombie. There is even a make up artist on hand to help give you that authentic "zombie look." I've never heard of anything like this before, but I already hope it becomes a San Jose tradition, sounds like a lot of fun!

There will also be a zombie themed art show at SLG Publishing Boutiki and Gallery, as well as specials for the undead at Cafe Trieste, The Blue Chip, Brix Nightclub, Agenda Lounge, and South First Billiards. Checkout the official Zombie-O-Rama map below!
